Steve Biko Academic Hospitality are looking for an honest, reliable and hardworking person to fill above position
Duties include:
· General daily cleaning areas:
o All kitchens
o Toilets
o Accommodation
o Operational Equipment Store
o Linen Room
o Functions and storeroom
o Office
· Deep Clean:
o High dusting
o Scrubbing floors
· Duties:
o Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
o Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
o Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
o Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
o Make adjustments and minor repairs
o Stock and maintain supply rooms
o Cooperate with the rest of the staff
o Follow all health and safety regulations
· Requirements:
o Proven working experience as a Cleaner
o Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
o Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
o Integrity
o High school degree
· Skills
o Hard working
o Good cleaning skills
o Positive attitude
o Strong people skills
o Good language skills
