Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled ADT (Articulated Dump Truck) Operator to join our team at our underground manganese mine in South Africa. The ADT Operator will be responsible for transporting materials and waste within the mine safely.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate an ADT machine to transport materials and waste within the underground mine.
Conduct pre-operational equipment checks and routine maintenance.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the mine's logistics team to optimize material transportation.
Maintain accurate records of ADT activities and report any safety concerns or equipment issues.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications Required:
Matriculated or Equivalent.
ADT (ADT 30) Certificate.
At least 5 years’ experience as an ADT Operator.
Dover A result.
Operator’s license.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in underground mining.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces and challenging underground conditions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
