Software Developer

We are a private consulting firm developing engineering and scientific software, seeking junior and experienced senior persons to perform software development and data analysis.

Scope of Work:
-- General software design and development
-- Database development
-- Development and maintenance of telemetry data management systems consisting of Metadata databases, real-time recording/display and data reduction applications.
-- Operational research: Development of system models and performing Monte-Carlo simulations
-- Simulation and Field-Trail data reduction/analysis and writing result reports.

Essential Skills:
-- C/C++
-- Database design and SQL

Advantageous Experience/Skills:
-- MySQL and/or Oracle experience
-- Borland/Embarcadero C++ Builder
-- Visual Studio 2010
-- VMware
-- Matlab
-- MS Word & Excel
-- Web development

Requirements:
-- Relevant tertiary degree or diploma (Computer-science / Engineering)
-- Some of the work is defence related. Successful candidates may be required to successfully complete a security clearance.
